It seems Chinese Communists have no time to listen. The South China Morning Post has this article:
Vice-president Zeng Qinghong left Hong Kong saying he was sorry he had been too busy during his three-day stay to hear a broader range of opinions.
The state leader in charge of Hong Kong affairs called on local people to consolidate the economic recovery and improve public livelihoods.
Summing up his visit, Mr Zeng said: "Time really flies. I could not find time to see many things I wanted to because of a tight schedule. Likewise, I could not listen to many voices."
Mr Zeng, who had vowed to listen to the people on his arrival on Saturday, did not respond when asked whether the voices he failed to hear included those from the pro-democracy camp.
