Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi reshuffled his
Cabinet on Monday and gave key posts to three possible contenders to succeed
him for Japan's top job. One of them is Mr. Shinzo Abe, a conservative hardliner with family ties to Japan's wartime crimes in northeast China in the 1930s.
